 I rented a car from Hertz near the LAX airport in Los Angeles, California. During my stay I did not enter any tolls nor was I told that there were administrative toll fees. A week after returning from my vacation, I received a letter requesting that I pay Hertz's administrative toll fee within five days or the credit card used at the time of service would be charged! The letter provided a website to make an online payment but the domain name does not exist! I travel frequently and this is the first time a rental company has done this. On a vacation to Florida several years ago, I actually drove through an EZ pass by mistake. When I returned the car, the clerk pulled up the infraction and I paid on the spot. It was simply the cost of the toll itself. I found another complaint similar to mines regarding Hertz and decided to post my complaint. Going forward I will not be using Hertz ever again. There are too many, transparent rental companies out there! Don't get ripped off!
