I contracted with Eliot Management in June to do our merchant services based on what they told me they could do, which included, among other things, "FirstPay.Net2.0" which they stated would work with any merchant website.

Needless to say, it did not. However, they charged me $320.67 setup fee, and then were supposed to bill me $89.95 per month for the gateway fee, etc.

However, we didn't start using the service due to some delays. However, they billed me monthly anyway, and I kept complaining and they kept saying they'd "pause the account" but it never happened.

They did refund one month (June), but then also threw in a $95 annual fee on top of the rest of their spurious charges which was NEVER discussed and they said they'd refund.

Finally, early this month I filed a dispute with our bank, Washington Trust Bank for nearly $700 in charges.

Then, yesterday, I discovered 2 new charges on my account for over $600 on Oct. 12th, 2010 which came from "BANKCARD COLL FEES"...after calling WA Trust again, I got a phone number which in their system was noted 1st American Pay/Merimac.

I googled Merimac and found this site whereupon I am filing my own report.
