CC Bill.com Elaine - Representative This is a ripoff internet scam. while on phone i noticed another unauthorized transaction from my account while talking to this so called company. This Company is a scam.. don't give them your card Tempe, Arizona
Noticed a transaction on my bank statement from ccbill.com. called company to address the transaction. i gave them my name, email, address, they could not find it. they asked for cc number. I was curious why they needed it. when they debuted money out of my account.
so i gave them niumber and they found it, I got more information(name, address and site they so called visited) about who used my card number. I told them to cancel and asked them what they are going to do about it. Rep told me it was canceled. However, i still was reluctant about the whole situation. So i called my bank to closed account and reissue another card. I called my bank Fraud dept and they could not help me, so they directed me to customer Service. Customer Service could not help me either. All they could do is close account and have me call back in the morning.
My bank account was closed so no other transaction can be debited out my account. I checked into the company and found out it was a scam. But i am curious how they were able to debit my account, when my card was not stolen or lost. I am very careful about using my card.
So be careful and try to check the company out, using the internet before calling them so you have some kind of leverage when talking to them. Try not to give them your cardnumber.
