I attempted to buy halloween costume from brandsonsale.com. However, the costume is on back order, which the company never told me. 3 wk later I finally got a response to my email. I had attempted to get a hold of them for 2 wks via the phone and left a message as well on their answering machine, since I had trouble with my email.
When I recieved a response from Matthew McDonald via e-mail, all he wrote was that the item was back ordered. I emailed him again to find out how to cancel the order with the response to contact costumer service, which he was suppose to be. He did not leave a phone number for me to contact or another e-mail address.
I then had to spend 10min on their web site to find a phone number for costumer service. Apparently, when you have to cancel an order you cannot do so via e-mail. They also charge you $5.90 to do so.
I attemted to call that number 15 times without getting a hold of a representative. Again, the answering machine suggested to leave a phonenumber and ordering number.
I finally decided to call from my cell phone and pressed one as if I was going to order a new item and got a hold of a person. I then was on hold for a least 5min before he decided to cancel the order. At this point I was furious.
They said that they will not charge me $5.90 and they better not.
