We went on vacation in 2008 to Myrtle Beach. We stopped at a rest stop and inside we were offered tickets to various placed at a discount and all we had to do is sit and listen to a 60 minute timeshare speech.

We thought no harm done to get discounted tickets.

We had an appointment at 9am to listend to the sales pitch and at 4pm we were still there just wanting to get out of there. Eventually we were talked into buying a timeshare and had taken a tour.

We were told we could use our points at any time and at any resort.

Of course we were offered a cruise, free maintenance for a year and if we ever wanted to sell our timeshare back all we had to do is call and they would buy the timeshare back. (Yeah right)

After a few months of paying the monthly fee we get a bill for maintenance fees which would be a couple hundred dollars. Try $600 dollars and some change.

I have had my timeshare listed with Pinnacle Vacation (which I had to pay for) for a couple months.

I still have this awful timeshare and cannot get anyone to return my call, email or get any answers.

We did get a postcard from Pinnacle giving us our customer number and was told our timeshare was priced too high and would probably not sell.

The listed price is not the price I had asked for, it is actually a couple thousand dollars more.

I had called in December to take a short weekend away to Myrtle Beach. I was booked at Shore Crest Resort. A couple days before we were to leave I receive an email stating our rervations have been changed from Shore Crest (which is on the beach) to a Resort that is in the middle of town. If I wanted to listen to traffic and watch people play golf I would have stayed at home.

I am not sure on what I can do to get this resolved but I am not going to give up. I am in the process of contacting the Attorney General. Maybe they can give me some advice.

I had a Bluegreen and found out the hard way that Pinnacle is just another part of Bluegreen. I ended up just donating it to charity.
