Before signing up with Aliera, I was very thorough about my question and confirmed that my facility and doctor were covered. The first and only time I used my insurance was when I went to Urgent Care. The facility said that they did not accept my insurance. We had them call Aliera and they confirmed the facility was in Network.

The next day I called Aliera to confirm that the facility was in network, and again they confirmed that I was covered. I also reconfirmed that my upcoming Dr visit would also be covered. A month later, I received the EOB, and was advised that the facility and doctor was out of network, and not covered.

I called Aliera and they confirmed that they had notes in the system that they told me I was covered, and yet they are still denying coverage. They are ignoring the medical facility on their repeated attempts to rectify the problem and tell me that they need to resubmit the bill using the correct tax ID.

However, the medical facility only has tax ID. Still no resolution and I'm seriously considering a class action. They are acting in bad faith by saying that I am covered and then denying coverage.
