10/23/93 I purchased a LIFETIME front end alignment from Woodley Tire Pro, (same address and Phone, listed above). Just over a year later employees say theywere taken over by new MGMT, and renamed Granada Hills Service Center & Tires.Since then employees have led me to believe the current sole owner, bought out his brother, who was his partner.

When I went in there on 2/11/00 and asked them to honor the agreement their staff refused, telling me I had to speak with the owner, (Vake V. Kalfayan), and promised to have him call me at home when he returned that day. Mr. Kalfayan did not return my call so I contacted him. He refuses to discuss the matter with me at all.

Mr Kalfayan did not attempt to explain why he believed he did not have to honor the contract, even when I asked him if there was a reason why his company might no longer be responsible for contracts they had acquired when they took over the business, he just did his best to ignore me.

I would like to enough money to obtain a contract from a competing company for the same service he is denying me. I do not want to leave my car with a repair facility that harbors bad will toward me.

What the owner of the shop says is not true

If the owner had not been trying so hard to milseading me into letting him do the realignment, he might have told me exactly what I eventually learned, that his shop was no longer associated with Tire Pro's.

I wouldn't have spent so much time researching the ownership of his shop and contacting outside agencies for help if he'd simply told me he wasn't a Tire Pros shop anymore.

His shop is close to where I live but I would never go back, when I was there I was hardly the only unhappy customer.

i m the owner Vahe he spoke to me the first time he came .went home and keept on calling then filed with the BBB where they agreed with me he has a lifetime warranty for alignment from tire pros that use to be in this location  that was sold back late. 1998. He was advised that his warranty is good in any other tire pros location .nation wide .and that there was one 3to 5 miles away we are not part of that company and have not been for years .he demanded service or money yelling profanity wanting to fight where we had to call the police for him to leave.

we kept telling him he has warranty with tire pros just go there they can help you .

In our first year and 6 months or more of operation here at badbusinessbureau.com, we never bothered to report the hundreds of Thank you e-mails we recieved for our efforts. This was a mistake on our part. From time to time, as we locate them, we will be posting them.

I would like to send you an update on my situation. As you may recall, I had asked for assistance because I did not believe I was being treated fairly by a Tire Pros store in Los Angeles.

I had returned to the store for a follow up front end alignment that was prepaid through a lifetime front end alignment contract, and been turned away by "new management", who refused to talk to me. After you spoke to them and they told you
about other "Tire Pros" locations and I was able to get one of them to align the vehicle.

I know my problem would not have been resolved nearly so quickly, if you had not intervened on my behalf.

I would like to add that your response has been faster, and done more to help me than the response I have received from the Better Business Bureau. So far all they have done is to have me fill out and submit forms, which might have eventually led to a resolution, but certainly not before I might have destroyed the front tires on my vehicle. I can hardly believe that an official agency should be so much less efficient than you, making me even more appreciative of your efforts.

Thank you again for your assistance and keep up the great work.
