I purchased a CA King box springs & mattress set from the Nationwide Warehouse store located in Fayetteville NC. The first problem I had was that the sales man neglected to inform me that there would be a delivery charge, which I found out about the next day.

After numerous phone calls between the sales man & myself, I decided that it was easier to pick up the set. When I got there the sales man would not assist me in any way, he left it up to the manager & another co-worker. After I got the set home I discovered that the box springs were too wide for the waterbed frame I have. I immediately called & explained the problem. The sales man stated that he preferred to "special" order box springs for the dimensions I gave him. He assured me that someone would get in touch with me.

I called Nationwide because no one had contacted me as promised! At that point I asked if I could just return the box springs & either be refunded or have a credit toward my MasterCard. I was told yes for both items. Once the paperwork was completed for a Corporate Refund I was told I would receive a check within 10-14 days.

I called the store & talked with the sales man, he told me that there had been computer problems, took my work & home phone numbers & again assured me that I would hear from someone by Friday, 15 Sep 00. On 13 Sep 00 I sent an e-mail to the customer service address I found on the internet. Again I haven't heard anything. I also called the following number, 678-268-1822, & left a message stating that I wanted to make a complaint against the store here in Fayetteville, NC. Again, I haven't heard from anyone!

I'm at the point where I feel like I must notifiy my attorney, and the Pope AFB legal office. Once the Pope AFB legal office is notified they will investigate & if they find that this type of thing has happened to other customers they will automically put that store off limits to ALL military personnel & their families. This would also include the military personnel & familes from Ft Bragg!

I can only imagine the damage that could do to that particular store. All for a refund of $133.56! I truly hope that this can be resolved.
