WALTER EUGENE COKE - WECO CO. THEFT BY DECEPTION RIGGOLD, Georgia
After approx. 25 yrs. of divorce and little or no contact, Walter found me again in 1997...sounds like a love story right...NO...KEEP READING: We reconciled our poor marriage because we did have a daughter between us, now age 33. Walter came back into our lives after much discussion and reaquainted himself with his daughter and I.
He seemed very warm and helpful and became the very good handy man he is around both our homes when he would come in for visits several times a year. THIS I HAVE APPREICATED VERY MUCH and I paid all the expenses for all the equipment etc. and he did the work.
Several years later I lost my mother, and he was there to be supportive. He continued doing these things, all the while making statements that he wasn't married and had never remarried...no further children. We entertained him lavishly, up to 4 us of having a $300 meal at times, several times. He was treated like a king in our home all the while he degraded my son by making fun of him (son is from another marriage).
In 2001 at his asking I gave Walter a vehicle of mine, a 1990 Jimmy 2 door; TEXAS LIC. PLATE NO. XGO-498, with the understanding he would use it as a work vehicle and he WOULD REGISTER THE CAR IN HIS NAME IN GEORGIA.
He left and within 2 weeks I had acquired all the proper documentation and signed myportion of the document and fed. ex'd it to him for him to register (he never did). I didn't know this and he had come to see me several more times.
In June 2003 I got a nasty letter from a collection agency stating I owed for an auto accident in the amount of approx. $3200. I couldn't figure out what was going on so after a month I finally paid an atty. $200 to look into the matter.
Mr. Coke had an accident in April of 2002 that was his fault. He lied to the GA police stating that the car belonged to his son, and showed him the old insurance card. Walter didn't have a GA drivers lic. as it had been previously REVOKED but claims he has a TN driver's lic.
When I approached Walter about the matter in an email, he stated he had a TN driver's lic.
I didn't know I was suppose to remove the plates from the car when I let him take it. I did all the proper things I was suppose to do otherwise. WALTER COKE IS A CONIVER, and come to find out from my attorney he is also an Ex-Con with one of his convictions being Theft by Deceit.
State Farm Insurance is trying to find him and the car so they can get back the money they are owed for the accident.
If you live in GA or TN please look for this vehicle, if it is still driveable; it is a burgandy color. WATCH YOUR BACK WITH THIS GUY...HE STEELS FROM YOU, YOUR VERY SOUL AND DOING HIS HANDY MAN WORK HE THEIVES FROM YOU BY TAKING THE 'EXTRAS' HE PURCHASES FOR THE 'JOB' WITH HIM.
