Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I answered a request through a dept of labor job posting.  I got a response back stating for me to come in for an interview with Volt.  Not knowing at the time of the interview it was with this temporary agency out of Atlanta.  Half way through the interview the lady told me it was with a company called Ricoh.

They listed the job as an Accounts Receivable postion on the web but then she told me it would be in their accounts payable deptartment.  She was then ready to send me the online accessment test needed for this position until I told her I had applied on line a few days ago with the same company went through a phone interview and an online accessment test with them only to be told they were interviewing other applicants.

When I brought this to, her, the district managers attention half way through her interview she told me "Oh" well let me check with them and find out why they didn't go any further with the interiview. She told me she would call and let me know what she found out.  I have previously work for this company over 9 years ago and had the qualifications to do the job.  However, she said she would send me the assessment tests to complete and an application from their company to fill out if they had other job openings that I would meet to fill out in order for them to contact me.

She also said if I didn't get the email from her to call here the next day because she would sometimes send them out to the wrong email address and that she would resend them?  Well I got no email the same day I interviewed.  The next day I left a voice mail and sent an email to her stating I was still waiting on the information but I still have not gotten any response to this date.  This company if a "RIP OFF"  After my interview was cut short after she found out I had applied on line directly to the same hiring company and after she told me she would send information to the wrong email addresses and that she would let me know what she found out after talking with representatives she knew at the company was all a "lie".   Temporary agencies are all about the "numbers" game. She had no intentions of getting back with me much less sending me the accessment test via email.

I have come across the same scam with a temp service here in Georgia, Randstand, they call you in and take generic information and get you to fill out an application with the hopes of being called for a temp to perm job and there again you are nothing but a numbers game to them all while you listen to them as to why then lost so much in commission for not filling a positon which you are qualified for.
