Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

Do not expect to be treated well, do not expect professionalism, and absolutely do not expect to not have your appliances on the day they say they will deliver them. Save your time time, money, sanity, and aggravation by going through a retail channel that knows the meaning of customer service. Right at the outset, the delivery date was pushed back by two weeks, even though the order had been placed almost 3 weeks in advance of the initially selected delivery date. Then, on the day of the delivery, the company selected for delivery to customer "Logistics Specialty Freight" sends two very rude, unprofessional delivery guys who were too lazy and impatient to actually deliver the products ("it won't fit!") who drove off without even saying goodbye or offering to put the appliances in the garage-nothing. Simply drove off without giving us anything to sign regarding their unwillingness to deliver the product. We called Logistics Specialty Freight, Canada Cartage, VIP Link Whirlpool and spent hours on the phone trying to figure out why the units were not being delivered as agreed. We were given a new delivery date of the next day so a more competent delivery team could try the delivery. The new guys that came are perhaps the only saving grace in this whole sordid tale, they were polite, courteous, made all the appropriate measurements, and assured us the units would fit fine. Unfortunately, the units were damaged during transit. So we asked them to be returned and replaced with units that were not severely dented or scuffed. So they take the new units away and put our old ones back (thank you). Now here is the kicker! Since we are stressed out, frustrated, wanting our laundry facilities up and running, we had been on the phone with Logistics Specialty Freight, with Canada Cartage, and with Whirlpool for hours, trying to get the issue sorted out. Logistics Specialty Freight, obviously trying to cover their awful service on the first attempt, has been constantly lying about what transpired and Whirlpool decides to take their side and revoke our VIP Link privileges and cancel the order. We will spend the extra money at retail because trying to save money through "VIP Link" has cost us much more time, money, and aggravation than had we just gone to a proper store. But we will definitely be looking at brands other than Maytag and Whirlpool, we're sour on the whole brand now. Tl;dr the aggravation is not worth the cost savings unless you are willing to be walked all over as a customer.
