Recently I went on line to try and contact the VCStore....................

One to get tech support and two to get an update on my $100.00 rebate. First, let me say I could not get through on their 800 number. It's always busy no matter what time I seem to call, so I decided to email them instead. I tried several ways to pull up their site on the net and still could not locate them. However, I came across your site and decided I would respond. I forgot they had so many names for their company.................

(I plan to try searching the net again in case I over looked a possibilty.)

I mailed my rebates off just as I was instructed, I did eventually receive my printer, scanner and monitor rebate. However, it took alot of persistance and phone calls to get them. The rebate for the internet company, Skywizzard, was a joke as we cannot get their service in our area. Now, I am waiting for my rebate of $100 from the Video Computer store. I have been waiting for my rebate since Jan. 28, 2000 when I mailed it in. I have called them to get updates on my rebate and I usually get the run-around, however they did send me three postcards.

..The 1st to say that they were confirming my recent inquiry regarding my rebate and it would be paid in the order it was received and that was on May 17, 2000.

..2nd postcard, was to say again they were confirming my confirmation of inquiry and they had just received their list of names from the promotional center in Arizona where my rebate was mailed to. And they were processing it as quickly as possibile and would be issuing my rebate check on a priority basis, that was Sept. 5 2000.

..3rd postcard,was to inform me of a delay in processing the rebates and to say if you had already received a postcard, to please be assurd your rebate was being processed and would be forthcoming, that was on Nov. 16, 2000. This was the last time I have heard from them and still no rebate!

I have had some problems with my system and have only been able to get through to the tech desk a few times for support. So yes, I agree with you, I would not recommend the company to anyone, nor will I use them for myself in the future!

I usually don't respond to things I see on the net, but I felt this one was worth the time and effort it took me to tell you my story. As I hope it may help someoneelse out.
