US West Communications was US Worst, Quest a Quack ..providing better service? I think not!
On 9/21/2000 I was told Quest would be in to install a third dedicated line in my office. I was here from 6:30 am waiting. When the time reached 4:45 and still nobody had shown I called customer service to see if an installer was still going to come.
They said I was last on his list but he was on his way. He got here at 5:40 and came in to tell me that there was nothing he could do and that the box he needed to open was locked and that
I needed to call my landlord to get a ket and open it. When I called my landlord the next day he said he had never heard of such a thing. We went out together to look at the box and not only was it opened, there was not even a lock. I believe Loren was tired and that he just didnt want to do the job.
What is frustrating to me is that I had to wait almost another weel to get someone else to come out here and do the job. Even more frustrating is that when the second repairman came to turn on the second line he said that installing jacks was not part of the order. I called customer service again while he said he would wait. He did not wait, he left while I found out that he was supposed to install the jacks.
I then told them that this was unexcusble and that he needed to be called back today. What upsets me the most is that this is not the first time US West has provided bad service. When I first moved into my office they messed things up not once but twice while installing the initial lines.
I want them to know that they are no longer the only choice and unless their service improves they will no longer have me as a subscriber.
