I have had Time Warners Road Runner Cable Internet Service for about ten years now. Downtime was always something that happened on occasion due to repairs or upgrades to the service. However, lately the downtime has been totally unreal. I would have to say that of every 10 times I try to get on the net at night, at least seven of those times the service is down. It usually starts around 9pm and goes all night until 7am or so the next morning. I never see any credit on my bill for this downtime. I think a credit should automatically be given to those who are unable to use the service. When I call them they always play it off like there is something wrong with my modem and they want to send a tech out to the house. It's all a farce. They know that upgrades or repairs are being made to the system and they don't want to admit the problem is on their end. I get on the net at night because of the hours I work... I sleep during the day. When RR is down at night, I loose another days service. I have had no service recently for as long as a week (Mon-Fri) but it will be back on over the weekend only to go back down again on the following Monday evening. At $55 a month this is just not right. I pay for a service I cannot use. Time Warner should AUTOMATICALLY credit any service interruptions. I have been logging every time it is down recently and I will be turning it in for a refund. If no refund is given I will post another complaint.
