Thomson Consumer Electronics ripoff warranty on 27 in tv Indianapolis Indiana
Our 27 in. tv quit working after 7 months of use.After contacting thompson they provided us with the names of 2 repair shops, the closest was 110 miles away. After contacting the repair shop they advised thompson it would be cheaper to replace the tv.than to have them make the required 2 trips to repair the tv. thompson agreed and said that they would replace the tv,and assignrd a case number and said a tv would be sent out to replace it.It has now been almost a month since we reported it and still dont habve a replacement tv. every time i call,and inquire about it,i get the run around,with no one telling me the same thing, the last time i called the customer service rep. was very rude,put me on hold for 22 minutes. her english was very poor hard to understand. she said that a agent na,med slyvia would contact us by Monday or tuesday,still they havent called.
