The Room Place- Castleton, IN Harlem Furniture Furniture fell apart and they did not back the 5 year warranty we purchased Indianapolis Indiana
Bought an eat in table that was labeled "indestructible". We have a 4 year old so thought that was the one. A couple months later, the finish wore off in some spots leaving an ugly finish. We also bought the 5 year protection plan.
Contacted The Room Place and they sent out a repair person. He said he's seen this particular problem a lot and there was nothing he could do to fix it. It was a manufacturing defect.
The Room Place sent out another table for free to see if that would fix the problem. One month later, same problem.
I've contacted the Store Manager, Marcus Garrett, several times to resolve the issue. When he felt like responding, he was of no help. After some no responses, I simply said I would be in the get my full refund check per the 5 year protection plan guarantee.
Marcus then responded that customer service cannot do anything to help and we are stuck with the table.
The Room Place website says 100% customer satisfaction guaranteed. They also promote the 5 year protection plan. Both are complete false advertising.
