An online electronic phonebook, They told me at the time that they were getting 12 to 15 million hits per month. (and the traffic was on the INCREASE!)
They were quite sure that as a result of my being in their system I would get traffic. One of their sales reps in particular spoke in glowing terms regarding my getting so much as 1% of that traffic.
This would have been fine as it would have come out to 120000 hits per month I would have been pleased with this...heck I would have been happy with .25% (3000 hits per month...)
Believe me folks my counter has not done anything even vaguely near that...humorously I think it has been moving due to visiting "check" for traffic...
Sadly they also promised "free ecommerce" as well this also has been found lacking. I was told that the "ecommerce dept." would contact me regarding the set-up of this matter. Needless to say this phone call never came. Infact to further set the record straight...I have an answering machine so IF they say "we called or attempted to contact me" I never found ANY messages from them. After repeated phone calls and emails to rectify the matter I have simply given up this is indeed a very sad state of affairs when a company such as this simply takes folks monies. (In my case the $125.00 downpayment..)
On top of that they are still billing me ($43.00x9/month) for "services rendered"... What services rendered?!!!
I am not by any means rich, infact like most of us out here I am struggling to make ends meet. I'd simply like someone to put a stop to this matter for the sake of all of us consumers. I just wish I had gone to the BBB website FIRST and gotten information on this company before I had invested my earnings.
Please someone out there put an end to this rip-off!
