After living in our car for about 2 months, we thought we would treat ourselves and get out of the car for three nights. We had a pre-paid Mastercard and we checked into the Super 8 Motel in Henderson, Co. All seemed to be o.k.; The second night I was called down to front desk and talked with clerk and auditor, the card did not want to go through, worked with it a bit and all was fine. The third day. I am at front desk and asked manager if everything was ok, she informed me that they do not accept Pre-paid mastercards.

Note: this is already after I checked the account and the motel already took $148.?? off of this card. I am told however that I still owe the total amount of the stay. We bickered back and forth and called the card company, and after much trouble, the card company reversed the charges and now I am told to go get cash. Pre-paid cards do not allow cash advances. This motel should of told me when I checked in that they do not accept these cards, I was never told this.

To add insult to injury; I informed the Manager that when I first checked in that the outlets did not work in the original room, she called me a liar and everything was fine. Anyways. I went through two nights of hell, not being able to sleep because I was stressed out about the bill and that they are not taking the Mastercard now on the third day, after they have taken money off it. I was told that they had trainees and it was not their fault. How is it my fault that they have trainess who have not been trained properly.

On check out, she finally decided to accept the Mastercard, but with this outdated computer software, she could only charge $150.00 to it, and wrote off the rest. I should of been refunded at least two nights wih the stress this motel caused me and the lack of rest I got with it.

I signed the bill and left. Later that day, I went to buy groceries with the card and found that there was now a zero balance. The manager of this motel charged my card again, after the bill was finalized. This was not authorized by me and I feel that I have just been victimized and stolen from. I have the bill I signed and finalizwd this stay.

I have never dealt with such a nightmare situation staying at a motel, The Manager even had the gull to say to me when I checked out: we hope you come back to see us again. They also got my first name wrong on the bill as well, Name is Charles, not Christopher. Incompetent management and I want a refund of this stay in full now.
