S.T.D. CAR CARE CENTER ..consumer rip off ..horrible people
O.K. I am resending. I first brought my car to this place to have an inspection. They called me and said that I needed this light that light and a few others. I said o.k. do it and could you also change the oil.
They called me back and said I could use a winterizing but that I would need to new hoses also I said o.k. do it so in the end I spent $220.00 on an oil change, inspection and winterization. A few days later I start to hear a noise which thought was my catalytic converter because sometimes it makes a noise when the car is cold but stops when it heats up. Well the noise got worse and worse until I brought it back to them and they said I needed a water pump.
They told me it would be $189.00. When I picked the car up the bill was $237.00. They said I also needed a gallon and a half of antifreeze and I said why if I just had the car winterized. They adjusted the price by $30.00 which is a lot for antifreeze if you ask me and still never answered the question of why I would need it. Anyway I take the car home and a few days later I see
an oil spot under my car. I start to get suspicious and bring the car back to where I use to go which is far away. I recently just moved. Well it winds up that all my seals are leaking. Everyone said that never happens the only way that could happen i if someone puts break fluid in the engine. Which I find
out later is an old trick. Now I find out today that my boot axle was also cut.
This is costing me $450.00 not including the $220.00 I first gave the other place and then the $237.00 for the water pump. I am so upset by this.
How can people be so horrible. Please help me get my money back.
