My brother went to Star Ford Of Oxmoor (herein SF) in Louisville to purchase a car. After finding one he liked and givin a price he decided to buy it. He was told he was approved and to return the next day with Insurance for the vehicle and to fill out paperwork.

Later that day he was told there was a problem and he needed a co-signer. He ask his father and his Father agreed. He return the next day with his father and it took all day for a credit check and approvel. My brother had to leave SF and told them they all would return the next day. The sales man said there was no need for him to return since he had signed all the necessary papers the day before.

The co-signer was all that was needed now. They gave the keys to my brother and let him drive away. A few months later my brother realized he never recieved the title to the car. He call SF and was told it was sent to him. So he then had to go to the license bureau to retrieve another. After going there the License Bureau he was told he was not authorized to file for a new one and needed to talk to the dealership to clear it up. He then went to his father to retrieve the paperwork to take back to the license bureau. To his amazement and that of his fathers they found that thepaper work did not match any thing they had remembered signing. The price was more then a $1000.00 more then quoted, he had a fee on the vehicle for etching and the car was almost 10 years old.

There was also insurance protection no one agreed to. And the worst yet to come was that the car was not even in my brothers name, it was in my fathers. He at the age of 61 did not need another car, he has two trucks and a van, let alone another payment. After this incident I became involved and found that the van my father purchased from SF was done the same way, but we had a copy of both contracts SF had tried to switch and bait him with. The least amount was given to them, but SF wanted the other contract. I said and they still got the least of the two contracts.

There was also insurance on both they didn't purchase because of their ages and health that they still had to pay for that was not only bogus but illegal. I could add a whole lot more but I think this is enough for now.
