Silverleaf Resorts Inc. Fox River Resorts We purchased our timeshare from Silverleaf Resorts in March 2008. This has been our experience with them so far. We were told this purchase was NOT a timeshare, but a DEED and would “save us so much money”, “it is a great investment!”, and “we can sell it if we want to". Sheridan Illinois
We purchased our timeshare with Silverleaf in March 2008. This has been our experience with them so far. We were told this purchase was NOT a timeshare, but a DEED and would save us so much money as well as be a great investment and we can sell it if we want to. Sadly, they pressured us into purchasing thru high pressure sales tactics.
We've spent literally Thousands and have YET to take one full week vacations thru them. GREAT INVESTMENT? SELL IF WE WANT TO? Have you tried selling a timeshare lately? It can't be done!! Had we been informed at closing the we could cancel within a certain timeframe, that would have happened, but as no surprise, they were quite vague on that information.
Since our purchase, we have contacted them numerous times in an attempt to sell it back to them and have even tried to GIVE it back!!! They said they could not work with us. They are now accusing us of hiring the services of an advocacy group without any proof of this accusation.
In short, Silverleaf has not been truthful, and is more concerned about making a profit rather than meeting the needs of thier costumers, and we are very dissatified with our experience.
