I made an online purchase at Best Buy.
Shortly afterwards I received an email from shopsmarter offering me a rebate for my purchase. I responded to their email "Send us your Proof-of-Purchase to complete your Welcome Bonus claim. Here's what you'll need to do: Email your Best Buy order confirmation* to xxxxxxxxx Include claim number in the subject line of the email:
Shopsmarter knew I'd made a purchase at Best Buy, I thought they were connected to Best Buy. They've been charging my bank account $9.97 once a month since April without my knowledge or permission. There was no mention of any charges, why would I pay someone for a Rebate??

I have communicated with your company and it was a waste of time. I have filed a report about your activity with WA State Attny General. Look how many people who are here at just this site whom you have scammed.
It's a disgrace that you take advantage of people especially during a pandemic, when we are all hurting. A reckoning is due.
