Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

The problem here, is that Sears, a company I went to for 35 years... is no longer going to get any business from me or my family.

Reason:    I recently needed to buy a new battery and I have always bought DIEHARD.

But as of this event I am questioning even the product.

What happened, is that despite the ease of installing a battery, the techs who did the install busted several cables and it was (per my regular mechanic) incompetent and nearly impossible to do as much as they did without doing it intentionally.

PLus to fix what they did, they wanted to order the parts (parts that can be obtained almost immediately anywhere in Tulsa) and that it would take a week (a lie).

The fix was done by my regular mechanic at $500 total.

Sears owes me that plus at least a partial refund of what they did do in their shop.

Fact is, if I ever am back in there (only if a relative must go there) I will be very vocal about their incompetence and do what i can be to help them lose customers.

Sears needs to consider getting out of the auto biz as this is the first true bad experience for me, but is the 5th time Ive witnessed what could be considered bad for others.

The only way I will ever back off from Sears and this is if the pay the bill for what they caused.

They very nearly cost me a transmision damage that would bave been $2000.

If that had happened, I would have pursued criminal action (per my lawyer, I had a case and still do).
