I had my car towed to sears on dec. 8th. it had a faulty starter, and I was told that I also needed a fly wheel, which I ok'd. I was told that this was a six and a half hour job. My car wasn't ready until wednesday at noon. I picked it up on the way to my daughter's surgery. I got on the highway and the rpm's on the car are at 5 and not coming down.
I have it towed back to sears and they tell me that it is showing a code that only a dealer can fix so they will have to send it out. They do that finally on friday. It comes back and i'm told that it still isn't right but I could take it for the weekend as long as I don't drive it at high speeds. I did not choose to be set up and declined.
It went to the dealer on monday. since then my only communication with sears has been when i called them. I have heard several stories as to why it still hasn't been looked at..a different story from each person. Meanwhile I had to rent a car and the meter just runs and runs on that.
I am amazed that in the year 2013 a woman still cannot take her car to the shop without being taken advantage of and flat out lied to.
Please please help me!
