I was ripped off by Sam's Club in Muskegon, MI
I bought a leather coat from Sam's Club on Oct. 30, 1999. In April, 2000 the zipper broke. I paid $99.75 for the coat. When I went to exchange the jacket or to receive a refund, Sam's told me that I would have to contact the Manufacture, but they would not give me the name of the Manufacture or its address or phone number.
After talking to two representatives and two managers they said that the name of the manufacturer was not on file. The manager told me to see if I could find the manufacturer on the internet.
I have never had a problem with a zipper on a leather coat. I always thought a leather coat would last longer than 5 1/2 months. I have a receipt, but Sam's won't let me exchange the coat for anything else in the store. So I'm stuck with a leather coat and a broken zipper for now.
