I met Ryan through a friend of mine after staying at their place for a week. I barley had a place to stay and things were pretty unstable with my parents. After the first few times we met he found out about my situation and told me he can help me out. He said that him and his cousin Roberto Aguirre Sacasa were starting an esports team called "revenge texas" and that they had aquired 15 tesla's that were on an open title. He said the way they aquired them was legal but they could not personally sell them.

He said that he had models under his modeling agency (which I later found out was not registered or legitimate in any way) that were making payments to go towards the sales tax of the vehicles, however they could not keep up. So he made an offer for me to take the last 2 teslas, put em under my name and sell it on carvana for around $100,000 each, i just had to pay up front $1000 for the sales tax. I only paid $700. He said the same thing to a few other gamers/models "We can make you a lot of money by helping us sell these cars we can't sell. You just have to pay the sales tax on it" well about a month goes by and no word on the tesla's.

He said thats because there were 4 more cars available cuz one of the models wasn't paying, and his cousin didn't want to do anything yet. And that I could potentially make around $780,000 if I sold them and it would move things along, but because I didn't have any money to pay for the sales tax, I could instead open up a line of credit that could be counted as payment for the sales tax. So I did, I opened up a credit card with best buy and got approved for a $3000 limit which was the exact amount i needed. He also said I could get a 35% share of the esports team ($7000 a month) if I opened up phone lines under my name but his cousin would pay for em. And that I would be able to live in the mansion the gamers were going to.

Being jobless and not having any stable place to stay it seemed like I was getting the deal of a lifetime. So I opened up 12 different phone lines from 3 different carriers and accrued around $15000 worth of debt. Well month after month goes by and he always has an excuse as to why his cousin hasn't paid for the phones yet. He even promised to pay for the bills himself until his cousin took care of it but then went back on it saying he doesn't have the money. No one has received any payment yet. It's always coming next week. If that doesn't happen it's because of this reason and it's really coming in next week. Then next week, then next week.

My credit score is in shambles by now. I later found out from one of the gamers that he SOLD all the phones and the equipment telling the gamers that his cousin paid for it. But it was really out of my pocket. And he did it behind my back. When I confronted him about it he LIED and said that he returned them, and why did he lie? Because he didn't like that I talked to the gamer about it. I got really angry and called him out on it. He said he would never lie to me again and would send $25000 to make up for it. Nope never happened. He said he would send $2000 every 2 weeks recently to make up for my lost investment since he got a job as a "creative director",even though his main source of income is doordashing. Nope didn't happen. What happened was the day the money was supposed to be delivered. He said that he can only afford $300 a week. Then when that date came. He said that now he's gotta pay for medicine cuz his friends got covid, so he doesn't have the money even though hes got a big time job like "creative director" Like in the other ripoff reports about him.

He thinks he can talk his way out of anything. He's lied more times than I can count and I got tired of his excuses. I cut off all contact with him and made sure he would not contact me or try to speak to me again. Now I'm in a better place and looking back feeling really stupid about myself. But I was desperate and barley had a home to go to. And that's the type of people he prays on. Despicable. If you meet this man. BEWARE. He is extremely manipulative and opportunistic. He will promise you things he can't commit to and will take away everything he can for himself. STAY AWAY FROM THIS MAN.

I'm calling you out for being judgemental you pretentious a*s. Not for having a judgement. When people say "you have no right to judge" theyre usually doing it in response when they see the judgement as uncalled for and shallow. It's a turn of phrase used in certain social contexts. There does that help explain things for you? I basically drew it out in crayon for you so your simple mind doesn't conflate being judgemental with having a judgement. I don't care if you sympathize or not. But for you to go out of your way to leave such a shitty little comment, to try and tarnish my name?

To accuse me of trying to scam people? Hell no, of course I'm gonna defend myself. I did everything in my power to make sure this guy was legit. It obviously wasn't enough. End of story. I don't have to explain anything more to you and I don't owe you a thing. So take your opinions, take your judgements take your self righteousness and shove it all the way up there alright, right next to where your head is. Now go away and feel free never to comment on here again.

I didn't post this so egotistical jerks can inflate their egos to feel superior to. I don't care about your sympathy I never asked. I posted this to help bring awareness to this man because he preys on people. Just read up more on him. And btw I'm not the only one so stop posting here if you're not gonna help. I don't care about you or your pathetic self aggrandizing antics of punching down at someone to make yourself feel better because you wanna play keyboard warrior with a stranger on ripoff report.

limiting yourself to your own point of view and arrogantly thinking it couldn't happen to you is easy. It's easy to wave and point your finger at the victims but how does that help. All you're doing is adding more pain where there's already a lot of it. But you don't care do you? Do you know how many people fall for scams everyday? Or what circumstances make people more susceptible to them or the psychology behind con-men. No. Instead youd just say "Eh, you're stupid and don't have my sympathy lol" as if that means anything. And I'll say this again and for the last time, I AM NOT SEEKING SYMPATHY. I didn't post this to get sympathy. And I'm not posting it so obnoxious morons can make snide comments about it.

So if this post isn't to your liking I suggest you go somewhere else. And btw you don't know what you'd do in my position. You really dont. You'd like to think you wouldn't and that you'd be "smart enough" to see it but smart people get scammed too. And do you know what lead up to this? Do you know what my life has been like? or what lead up to this? No, do you know how easy it was to believe, when all your friends are telling you about it. When they're all excited. When you see bank accounts, when you tour homes and see the lease agreements. Seeing the cars, meeting the gamers. Seeing that all you have to do to be apart is just make a small investment deal and you could be free, free from your life and the misery of it all. Free to help your disabled stepdad get the care that he needs because he had a stroke.

Free to get your mom the help that she needs because she can barley function and is overworked. But you didn't know all that huh? Yea, Its a lot more nuanced than your black and white "You just did it for the money" way of thinking. And tbh I think youre just projecting, I don't care about having a large sum of money just to have it or having a lot of things. I had my reasons for doing what I did, and I'm willing to accept that it was a mistake. But you wanna sit there and play the arrogant s****.>

Yea I made the mistake, but you'd be a fool to think thats all I am or what defines me. But hey whatever gets you through the day. Just expect the same kind of treatment when you're in need. This is the last time I will post about this. If you're incapable of understanding, or don't want to understand frankly thats more your problem than mine.

"You don't have any right to judge me."  Of course I do.  You are posting on a public forum, inviting comment.  If I sympathized with you, you would question my judgement or my right to it.

"You would have done the same."   No, I would not, because I can see an obvious scam when it's obvious.  BTW, see how you just judged me with that statement?  Why do you think it's ok for you to judge me, but not for me to judge you?

Just go away! Seriously why do you keep doing this? Are you trying to make yourself feel superior or something? How about you do a little more reading on scams and people who are defrauded. It can happen to everyone. So sorry no that's why you can't judge me. Because you don't know me or who I am or what I've been through, or all the social reasons as to why I did what I did. And yea you probably would have because remember you're in my state of mind in this scenario and that's what I did. In my state of ming at the time I made a mistake and I learned from it. So stop commenting here if you're not here to help.

What you are doing is putting your thumb over someone who's been wronged and hurt and taking pleasure out of it. That is sick. So leave me alone and go back to whatever life you had. It's damaging enought that I have to live with this and I try to forgive myself EVERYDAY for what I've done. And you sick f*ck, are getting in he way of that so again. Stop jerking your ego off by saying "oh wouldnt have cuz I'm smart enough to notice" bullsh*t. You be careful with that attitude, cuz one day you're gonna get yours and not many people are gonna be sympathetic.

And lastly, I'm not looking for your sympathy. So stop saying that. I don't care about getting "sympathy" I posted on this site to better inform people on what this man did. If you're not personally affected or don't know the guy. STOP COMMENTING. This isn't for your then. Got it? Now have a great day.

..what you thought was "legitimate" about the deal being offered, or what steps you took to make sure that it was legal?   You didn't ask anywhere near enough questions, you didn't do your due diligence, you just saw money and went for a "deal" in which ten cars would be hidden from the authorities to avoid sales tax.  Instead of making sure this was all legal, you jumped through hoops to get phone plans, open lines of credit, and do everything the scammers told you to do in the hopes of getting $780,000 for being the Front Man for a scam.

You were promised a ridiculous amount of money, a monthly stipend, a room in a mansion....good lord, man.  You are just ridiculous.

No, I don't feel sorry for you in the slightest.

You have no idea what it was like. You have no idea how desperate I was

You don't have any right to judge me. If you were in my position you would do the same thing. I don't know how these things work but I trusted him because he did show bank accounts, statements for the house under his name. Showed me that his cousin was really who he was, and showed me the cars on the video. So don't tell me I didn't do any " due"diligence" And I don't know how it's avoiding taxes if I paid the taxes? Like I said I paid $700 and had invested the other electronics to count as payment for the rest of it. I thought that's how it worked. There were other people who I trusted who also paid for it too. Plus some other models I knew of. To me it seemed very legit. I was lied to and my trust was take advantage of. I know its real easy for you to be a callous a*****e from a screen but you don't know what I've been through! We can all victim blame but that doesn't stop people like him from taking advantage of desperate people. So stop being such a jerk and grow up.

I was told everything was legal. I was told that everything was gonna be taken care of. That everything would be paid for. I was desperate enough that I believed it. It's really telling how unempathetic you are that you would post such an insensitive comment on someone who simply made a mistake. So sorry, I don't accept your nonchalant passive attitude about this. Not caring is what allows people like this to keep doing what they do.
