River Bay I. Vaelo- Collector I have paid my bills on the first day of the month, I have recieved letter stating that I did not pay with notices, then recieved numerous letters stating that I have insufficient funds from the collector,Tampa Florida
I went and got my checks back. I have both checks back with the bank stamp on it stating that I have paid to the order of Key bank!! one of the check she told me that it would be in the mail from the bank in a green letter. that letter came from the office right here. I have been bullied by this lady all month long. what to do??

There seems to be something missing. First of all you mention you went to your bank and got "both" checks. So how many checks do you send them in a month where you need to have them pull up more than one?
You then also said that they were "paid to the order of Key Bank". But if you were paying an HOA wouldn't the checks be paid to the order of them?
But you did ask what you should do. Well the best thing to do is wait until they send you the check(bad check?) in the Green Letter(yes you may get more than one green letter). Once you have that, it may become very clear.
Perhaps it isn't actually your account, in which that is a totally different issue.
Perhaps the check was returned at one time and they resubmited it when it was paid, which in this case would still put you on the hook for various fees.
Perhaps they are talking about a different month that wasn't paid, where you may need to go back more than just a couple months to prove it was paid.
Perhaps it is one of 100's of other things.
