Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
About two years ago my wife and I started looking at purchasing our first home. We read the advertisiments for agents and finally settled on Neil Lampert, who has an office in Phoenix, AZ. Neil was really responsive to my wife and I to get us in his office.

When we finally showed up at his office in early June of 99 we were not introduced to Neil but turned over to a lady in sweat pants and a hospital scrub shirt who we were informed was to be our agent Cindie Wells.(who also happens to be Neil's fiance) She sat us down in a dirty back cubical in their office and proceeded to ask us what we wanted.

Now my wife and I had now idea what we were doing so Cindie started to get impatient with us. Never once trying to help us narrow down what was an appropriate area to look at homes in. Finally she said lets go look at some models. We stopped at a total of three different model homes that day. We picked one that really seemed to be what we were looking for. We told Cindie which one we liked and I said the following day I was going to go put down a deposit on the lot. Cindie informed me she couldn't make it that day( little did my wife and I know we would never see her again)

If you look at Neil Lamperts website it is filled with lies. The don't negotiate anything, they don't ever call again or make an apperence at the closing. But I bet they cashed their commission check. Cindie spent about 3 hours with us, which comes out to about $1000 an hour.

Dont ever use this company. Everything on their website is false and as a buyer you get no representation. We made one call to the agency and were given the runaround by Neil, Cindie called us back promising a call the following day.

Three months later still no call. There has to be good real estate agents out there, but these two are not good.

I'm currently an agent with Realty Executives in Del Mar, CA. Over the years I've "hung my license" with other branches as well. What i wish to point out to ALL who read the above comments is as follows: When you hire an agent, you hire an AGENT - not a company. The Re/Max or Coldwell agent serving you today might have beena C-21 or Realty Executives agent yesterday. It's the nature of the industry. I hear a lot of bitterness in this gentlemans tone and don't deny he has a right to be upset HOWEVER - if we want to start digging through court cases we can find similar stories from virtually EVERY franchise Real Estate company in the world!! Do you really think there are no dud's employed (or owning) C-21, Re/Max, Coldwell, ERA, Prudential offices across this country?! I will sell $10,000,000 in real estate this year exclusively through referrals and repeat business because I am a true consultant (as opposes to a sales person). The purpose of a Real estate professional is to consult, advise and over see the transactional details - anything short of that makes you a very typical real estate sales person. While there are plenty of "dud's" in this industry who migrated over from the corner car llot, there are also MBA who practice high ethical standards because it is WHO THEY CHOOSE TO BE. Every industry has dud's. I see them every day. Toyota, Ford, GE, Microsoft... Does that make them poor products as a whole? Your AGENT and your agents BROKER failed miserably however YOU are also responsible for not hiring knuckle heads. Some part of you was "asleep at the wheel" when you interviewed this agent to begin with. I advise you to take some responsibilty for the things that go wrong in your life and not yell and scream about 1,000,000+ whom you have never even met. Based on your tone and lack of due diligence as a consumer, I'd refer you to another agent as you wouldn't make my list as a client since I only work with 5-Star, quality, conscious, responsible people. I wish you a speedy recovery from your dented ego.
