Public Storage Gladstone Missouri 77th N. Oak Trfcwy. Public Storage Gladstone Crooks won't let me unload my stuff into my rented unit Gladstone Missouri
This public storage and the home office support is absolutely disgusting . We have a pod we were trying to move out of to move into this storage facility. When we informed the property manager of this she absolutely refused to allow us to bring the pod onto the property to unload it. There is plenty of room along the fence or even to the side in any of the rows to have the pod sat down without blocking access to anyone or disturbing other tenants.
However the manager insisted abd informed us if we brought the pod onto the property they would have it towed off and call police. They said it needed to be placed in the parking lot next door to the property. This is absolutely crazy that I would have to unload the pod onto a truck or trailer just to go next door through the security gate to access my unit then unload the truck trailer again into the storage unit. No one else is barred from bringing in a moving truck and spending as much time as needed to unload and out into their units do why am I descriminated against ?
I called the main office only to not get a response then get a call back but then they wouldn't return my calls . This is silly and nutz I have now spent an additional 160 dollars on an extra month of the pod and now in going to have to hire some guys to unload the pod onto a truck and trailer so I can drive it 250 feet just to have them guys unload everything into my unit. This is unbelievable . I can't believe they would treat a veteran like this without any compassion whatsoever. By the way the way they charge for units is nothing less than criminal anyway because I know the price on my 10x30 is only 110 dollars when I know some people are paying 200 or more for the exact same size unit.
This whole place is less than ethical the way they try to force insurance on you and require their special little locks which they also happen to sell. Nothing but crooks and jerks the Gladstone mo. Property is where this occured and the manager is unreasonable and a total $@$&@. U would not recommend this place to anyone until the management is turned over

Does everyone see that there is no compassion at all for costing me more money and how smug they are about how they are going to soon raise the rates on my unit like they do to everybody. This is exactly the attitude I was trying to describe but in just a few short sentences they did it for me and also proved my point that NOBODY SHOULD DO BUSINESS WITH THIS KIND OF A MANAGER WITH THIS KIND OF AN ATTITUDE.
NEED I SAY MORE . AND YES I WAS TRYING TO PLAY THE VETERAN CARD IN HOPES TO GARNER A LITTLE COMPASSION AND MAYBE FIND SOMEONE WHO WASNT SUCH AN A$# AND ACTUALLY TRIED TO HELP AND APPRECIATE THEIR CUSTOMERS INSTEAD OF A BUNCH OF JERK HYPOCRITS THAT COULDNT CARE LESS. HOW DARE YOU TREAT PEOPLE LIKE YOU DO AND THEN ARE SO SMUG AND POMPASS TO POST A RESPONSE LIKE THIS. YOU OBVIOUSLY DONT CARE WHO SEES IT. THIS WILL BE THE KIND OF TREATMENT EVERYONE SHOULD EXPECT WHEN CONSIDERING DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS SKETCHY AND SHADY BUSINESS. PLEASE STEER CLEAR OF THIS JOINT

- A "pod" is NOT a moving truck, it is something that is dropped off and then at some point picked back up. You aren't being discriminated against, you aren't being barred from bringing in a moving truck. In fact by your own narrative that is what you are going to need to do.
The only reason you tried to play the "Veteran" card is to gain sympathy, but that has NOTHING to do with this.
As for the rest of your report. If you were dissatified with the Insurance or locks the time to bring that up was BEFORE you rented the unit. Afterwards it just becomes a case of "Renter's Remorse". But don't worry about only being charged $110. Because just like every other storage unit company, you likely got "introductory rate" that overtime will go away and your rent will be increased.
