File a complaint with the Office of Thrift Supervision. Check when your payment checks cleared your bank account. If they processed your check for payment, yet failed to post it they are at fault. Provide only honest information to the Office of Thrift Supervision.

I used to have those kind of problems too. It was like digging a hole and the more I dug, the more dirt fell on my head. I finally got smart and now treat all of my credit cards, including a WaMu card, like an AMEX card. I pay the entire balance or just about all of it, each month. If you cannot do that, then you are living way beyond your means and will continue this downward spiral. You'll be eaten alive by overlimit and late fees. That's what these credit card companies live for. The best thing you can do if you have more than one such credit card is to approach a local credit union and ask them for a debt consolidation loan. That's how I got out from under my original debt. I went to my local credit union and got that loan, and along with it, a low interest mastercard. My credit has now been repaired as a result of having all those high limit credit cards paid off, I established a good track record with the credit union, and have now financed a home with a nice low interest rate. It can be done, but it takes some belt tightening and tough love on your part. Good luck to you.

If your current balance is $1654.15, and you only pay $150, then your balance will be $1504.15 and you will still be over the limit. Here is what you need to do: Pay $155 to bring your balance down to $1499.15. Plus pay $39 since you will probably be charged an over the limit fee on your next statement since you are over the limit right now. Many times over the limit fees are charged anytime you are over the limit in the previous month, and you are over the limit so you might get that fee on your next statement. Plus pay around $50 for interest charges (I see they were $43+ this month, but pay $50 anyway. So, I know this might be a tough nut to crack, but if you pay $244 (for the reasons stated above, you should stop the bleeding (but see below). Another problem you may have is this. Since your account was suspended, I am guessing your credit limit is now $-0- rather than the $1500 you used to have. Until you pay off the entire balance, you may be charged an over the limit fee every month. Because with a credit limit of $-0-, even $1 owed will be over the limit. You may want to call them to see if this scenario is going to happen. Just don't be late anymore to save the $39 late fee.

Hey Nikki, Ok that math was all wrong. In order for me not to get hit with finance charges along with that going over my limit and not getting overlimit fees I have to pay at least 150.00. OMG I feel like IM throwing money away. fianance charges are 43.39 late payment is 39.00 and overlimit fee is 35.00. sigh.

Hey Nikki, it's interesting you posted this because I was just talking this over with my husband. What you explained is correct and I just figured it out. the payment I made for 8/27 they have received, I talked to them and I actually have a bill that I got in the mail on time for Nov. they didn't post it to Oct bill. It's showing payment there. It states I owe 1654.15 now I see what's going on, they say the minumum payment is 97.00 well I will incurr more late fees and late charges which is all together going to be 74.00 if I don't get this down. So now I have to pay an extra 50 bucks since I paid them 90.00 so I won't incurr charges. Thanks Nikki for getting me to take a further look at this, I just hope other people review their bills so this doesn't happen to them.

You stated your balance was $1592+. Let's say $1593. If you made a $90 payment, your balance is $1503, so you will be charged an over the limit fee. Here is what you need to do to stop the bleeding. You need to make an additional $3 payment plus you need to add what your interest charge will be at the next statement drop. Look on past statements to see about how much interest you have been paying (probably around $40-$45). If you pay at least another $63 before the next statement gets printed, that should work, as long as the $1592 was your balance for October and the $1592 was your balance before your $90 payment. If your statement already dropped, then they will tack on another over the limit fee. Also, if your statement didn't drop, and you pay the $63, that money does not go towards next month's minimum payment. You will still have to pay that. Also, if your October statement shows an amount other than $1592, you need to take that into consideration. Did your payment of 8/27 ever post? Hope you have the receipt, or cancelled check, or bank posting if it didn't.

I have paid way over the min due, 7/17 120.00, 7/31 100.00 and 8/27 100.00 to try and ensure no late fees extra are added, doesn't matter how much I pay off they find a way to creep that account over limit. As of now I owe 30.00 but they want me to pay 96.00, I've already made a 90.00 payment and hope fees don't incurr again, it's frustrating to pay all this money when somehow the charges seem to find away over limit again even though I dont use the card and has been cancelled.

You incur finance charges every month. You are charged interest, and probably an over the limit fee every month. It doesn't matter that you are making payments, they don't waive the finance charges to help pay your bill off. Also, if you are not making the minimum payments every month, you are probably being hit with late fees too. The interest charges won't stop until you pay the bill off. The over limit fees will stop when you bring the account under the limit, and the late fees will stop when you make the full minimum payment by the due date each month. Also, if you owe $1592, don't just make a $92 payment. Then you will be right at your limit and when the interest is added in your next statement, you will be over the limit again.
