Providian Visa ripoff Dallas Texas
Some years ago I had a Providian credit card. I was the card holder and my mother was the co-signer. I called them sometimes when needed. Then one day after having this card for more then two years, A had to call them to pay over the phone, and they said I could not. They had changed it to my mother as the Card holder and the one owing the bill. My mother was real upsetand so was I. So when I got a second mortagage on my house, my mother had to sign off on the card instead of me. The mortagage company paid off the bill according to what they had been told was owed by Providian. My mom got a letter stating the bill had been paid. Then about three months or so I got a bill saying I owed over $300 to them. My mother of course had to call, and they said it was from late fees I owed them in the past. But that had all been taken care of with the loan. So I had to pay it.
It's been six years since that happened. Two years ago I got married. About a month ago my husband got a letter in the mail from a collection agengy stating he owed money to Providian from about a year ago from a credit card I know he never had. The ss# is wrong, and they keep harrassing him. They mentioned a place of employment that he never worked. My husband is disabled. He hasn't been able to work for more then 10 years. I am sick of them calling. And everytime him or I call them to tell them the SS# is wrong and to stop calling us, their employees are EXTREMELY rude. They yell at us. And they wonder why so many people in this world have anger issues???

The ss# is wrong, and they keep harrassing him. They mentioned a place of employment that he never worked. My husband is disabled. He hasn't been able to work for more then 10 years. I am sick of them calling. And everytime him or I call them to tell them the SS# is wrong and to stop calling us, their employees are EXTREMELY rude. They yell at us. And they wonder why so many people in this world have anger issues???
