On Sunday January 2,2005 I called the bank to check my records. I was totally annoyed when I found out that "PRIVACY PLUS" had taken from my account $179.95. First of all I never ever heard of privacy plus, second of all what gave AOL the right to give my credit card number to this rip off company, and third of all what the hell gave privacy plus intentions on taking money out of my account without consulting me as the card holder first. The answer I received from Privacy Plus when asked what kind of company are you and who gave you any right to just take money from my account without permission was appauling. The answer I received was you have benefits with us through AOL. I never had any benefits through anyone other than my company and Privacy Plus blamed AOL for the benefit factor. That still gives these fraudulant people no right what so ever of going into my account and trying to take one over on me. I told the joker whom I was talking to that he has 24hrs. to put the money back into my account. He told me I had no right to yell at him and that the money would be restored within a few business days. I then told him I had every right to yell and if he had money well worked for and taken from his account that he would yell also, and further more it was easy to take $179.95 out it better be d**n well easy to put it back in within 24hrs. Tomorrow at 1:30p.m. if the money is not in my account I will be making a visit to the bank and filing a fraud charge against this RIP OFF COMPANY. I have already talked to my bank and they will be there to assist me in this matter. Please do not have any connections with AOL as they are i feel even more of a rip-off than privacy plus and don't allow either organization to get away with these fraudulant acts as they must be stopped!
