Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I worked at this company, and have never seen so many scummy or illegal things go down. Employees were encouraged to rip people off via lying about how much retail products actually cost, and pushing extremely cost-prohibitive memberships with really shady contracts, for what is essentially the "taco bell" of spas. At locations where directors do not make commission off of membership sales, they will ring them up under the name of whatever Spa Consultant happens to be on the clock with them. For example, my director made several membership sales under my name that were later cancelled, so I was essentially punished by having my commission taken back off of my paycheck, even though I wasn't the one that actually made the sale. There is one sale in particular that Director made under my name that I knew was going to turn around and cancel, and she did. All the owners and directors care about is making that upfront cash off of the guests, and locking in them into a contract that they would only get a copy of if they requested it. (At least at my location).

On top of all that, my director would charge accounts without authorization all the time, and faked the numbers to regional so it looked like we had more members than we did. Planet Beach is 100% a scam run by scummy people, and employs underhanded sales techniques. To make matters more interesting, I'm fairly certain the director in question is on all of these sites reporting and trying to get rid of the scam reports under the username "TexasGal79". If it isn't the same person, they definitely work in the same district, because when there are valid complaints, they comment that the client should contact Ted, the district manager in that area, whom said director admitted to me was the shadiest sales person she had ever met, and taught them everything he knew. There was another Planet Beach in that District when I was employed that shut down without notice, and continued charging customers' cards even though they didn't have access to the services their memberships bought them. Unfortunately, this goes all the way to the company itself scamming the franchisees as well. I would love to see a class-action lawsuit against them of any kind, even if I don't personally benefit. They scam their customers out of more money than they ever did me.
