Paul Berry Chevyrolet Almost killed my family with their 42 point inspection
In late July 1999 I bought a 97 Dodge Caravan with 44K from this dealership. I did not have the extra money for a warrenty. But was assured that they preformed this inspection that covered anything I might be worried about.
This van also had a cracked windshield and the glove box was broken. Which was to be fixed at the dealer. Well the dealer still to this date has not repaired the glove box or windshield. But back to the rest of my complaint. About 3 weeks after I had bought the van the brakes went out not completly just the pads completly wore away. So we changed the pads 1 month later the same thing happened.
This time we replaced the pads and calipers. Another month goes by same thing. This time we took it to a repair shop who replaced the pads turned the roters and inspected the brake line.
All turned out OK. This time the van was good to go for about 2 months when again we had to replace the pads this was December 12 99', Dec 25 99' After this brake job I called the dealer and talked to the owner who said he was over sales and he would have his brother who is also part owner call me which never happened.
So my next step was to contact Dodge themselves which I did and was told to contact the dealer who sold me the van. Tie for another brake job which were done , Jan 2 00', Jan 8 00', And Jan 20 00'. Ok so today is Jan 29 00' and what hapened now not the brakes but I lose power steering.
Can you believe this!!! Well I finally got the van home. and called oce again the owner of the dealership who has failed to return my call. I basically said I want them to deliver a replacement van our this is going to cause more trouble than its worth.
