Parise Motors Scam
We purchased a 1993 Chevy Lumina APV from Parise Motors on March 24/2000. The same evening of the purchase we found that a decal had been placed over the dash indicator light, the engine began tapping on the way home from the purchase, there was a highly viscus oil in the crank case that was covering up an engine noise and shop rags had been placed betwen the engine and the transmission to cover up heavy oil leaks from the engine.
The next day we contacted Parise Motors (who advertise Quality Since 1936) and were told that our purchase had been made as is. The owner Chuck Parise refused to refund or compromise on any cost related to the repair of the engine ($3000 estimated) and has not returned any of our phone calls or messages.
We have found numerous individuals in the Kenosha area who have experienced simular problems with Parise Motors.
