Otior, L.C. John C. Calhoun and Company, Inc. is scamming the public with its deceptive advertising! Otior offers wonderful prizes to the public if you sit through their 3 hour presentation (they promise it is only 90 minutes) on timeshares at the Orangetree Golf Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona.

You are not obligated to buy, but the high pressure, RUDE salespeople do their best to make it seem like timeshares are an excellent investment, when in actuality they are not! These timeshares cost $10,000 and you must buy them the night of the presentation. The reason for this is that they don't want you to investigate whether or not you are getting a good deal, because the answer is NO! These timeshares lose their value almost immediately.

Timeshares are a great thing, but if you want one, buy them from ads in the newspaper or talk to your local real estate agent. You will find the exact same timeshares, originally from companies such as Otior, going for only $2,000 and $3,000! There is no difference except for the price!

And what about our great prize we were supposed to receive after the presentation...we received a certificate for 2 rounds of 18 holes of golf at the Orange Tree Resort. Fantastic, right? Wrong! We had a 2:00 tee time and were assured that we would have no problem getting all 18 rounds of golf in. When we arrived at the course though, we had to wait 2 1/2 hours and only got to play 8 HOLES OF GOLF! Did Otior give us another round of golf because we didn't get what we were originally promised? Absolutely not. They said "Tough!"

This has not been the first time that Otior has acted in an unethical manner. The Department of Real Estate has cited them several times for violations.

Don't be fooled by the Otior company and their timeshare scams...
