Oss Capital llc tried to scam me 3 different times Doraville, Georgia
Yesterday 11-13-12 I received a phone call at my place of employeement from Troy Adkins stating that I owed $670.00 to a payday loan company called Debt Doctor. He told me that I borrowed $200.00 from Debit Doctor on 7/18/2007 that was deposited into my Fleet Bank account. He also told me that I had closed my Fleet bank account and Debit Doctor never got their money. He also told me that they had sent letters and e-mails stating that I owe this money. First of all the address that he said I was living at I just moved there 1 year ago so there is no way they sent me anything, plus I never had a Fleet Bank account. I explained all of this to him, he told me that he didn't know why it said Fleet bank but my address must of gotten updated.
I proceeded to tell Troy that I wanted something writing stating what I owe, to who and a copy of my original contract with the Debt Doctor. He told me that he could fax over how much I owe and to who but no the original contract. He also told me that I had 24 hours to make my decision about if I was going to pay or if this was going to go forward to the courts. I told him I would call him within the 24 hour period to let him know what I was planning on doing. After I recieved that fax I realized somthing was not right first of all he had someone elses name on one of the forms and the forms look like something I could make on my computer.
I called my local sheriffs office asked them to help me, they told me that he sounded like a scam and that they looked my name up and found no pending court cases or anything else in my name. While I was on the phone with them my boss calls me and tells me that a Troy was on the phone wanting to talk to me but he was very rude to her. Troy had told me boss to put the blunt down before answering the phone because she had coughed when she picked up the phone. I was heated at that point. I asked Troy what gave him the right to talk to anyone like that and he told me that he was trying to break the ice. I told him that I told him I was going to call him so I didn't know why he was even calling me, he said he wanted to make sure I got the fax I said yes no leave me alone and I hung up the phone. He then called my cell phone and my house phone, when he was asked how he got my house number he said research. I find this to be a bunch of crap and these people need to leave me alone. This was the 3rd call I have gotten about the same thing this month, the first 2 people that called couldn't speak a word of english and wewre very rude. I am going to my local police department tody to file harrassment charges against this company. I am so sick and tired of these people trying to scam hard working people out of their money. Get a real job!!
