I had some gel coat repairs that need to be completed where the boat sat on the bunks. My insurance was covering the repairs minus the deductible.  Donald the owner stated just drop off the boat and give me the insurance information I will take care of it.  He gave me a repair quote of $2500 dollar to complete.  The boat was dropped off in April and promised by the 22nd of May before my wife and I left for vacation. When the 22nd came around they told me to come get the boat and when I arrived I found damage to the front, broken fish box, filthy boat, bent tie down, bunks not repaired and a scratch in the stripping and the gel coat repair looked like a kid did it.  Donald the owner thanked me for not yelling and blamed it on poor workers.

Then the lies started when Donald promised me he would have the boat done in the next week and have it delivered to me in Georgia where I was on vacation.  Weeks went by with no return phone calls.  I finally after getting upset received my boat back with an additional charge to my insurance company " in my opinion insurance fraud” for an additional $2000 dollars that he filled on his own and had the money deposited into my account.  Oh, and this was in August when I finally got my boat back.  He shipped my boat off and refused to give me the address, so I could go check on it.  The boat was clean, but still had damage to the stripping and my tie down was bent straight up where I believe they tried lifting the boat and dropped the boat.

Donald refused to fix claiming they lost the camera they took the pictures with and didn’t believe he did the damage.  I told him the insurance company had pictures, so he claimed to go inside and pull up and email stating that the insurance company adjuster would have to find them, but I found out from one of his loyal employees that he made the fake email himself.  I had to pay him to get my boat back. Since then I have talked to several people that said this guy is a very dishonest person, he lies and makes money off your insurance.  At this time I am contacting the Better Business Bureau so we can put a stop to this type of business.

I wrote that I was promised the boat back by May 22nd and when the 22nd arrived they called me to come get the boat.  The correction is when the 22nd came around the boat was not ready and it was the end of June when they called me to come look at the boat and I found more damage, dirty boat and the excuse of poor workers,  I was leaving for vacation the first of July and needed the boat.
