Back in Feb.I went to Officemax to get a new printer no big deal.I settled on one and it came with a 30.00 rebate.The cashier gave me 2 receipts one for the cash sale and the other one was the rebate receipt.I sent in for my rebate about a month later I get everything back saying all the stuff I sent them wasnt enough proof for a rebate.Watch out people go somewhere else Officemax is a genuine ripoff!

I would be willing to bet that the company that made your printer did not expect to get so many replies from there rebate and is trying everything that they can to refuse some of them.

They filed the following rebuttal to the above Rip-Off Report: Their email: [email protected] Their name: Dave Their relationship to the company: Supporter Rebuttal: Are you sure it was the fault of office max? What brand printer was it? 99% of all rebates are offered by the brand of the product and not the retailer. I would be willing to bet that the company that made your printer did not expect to get so many replies from there rebate and is trying everything that they can to refuse some of them. I'm not posative on that, but its I like to shop at officemax and they are always very streight forword with me. they will try whats in there power to help me out on varies stuff. but they can only fix whats in there power to fix. I am not trying to tell you that your office max is the good guy in this, there just like most other retailers, some good stores and some bad stores. but the two receipt thing is all I have ever gotten and its worked for me most of the time.
