Nations Auto sells unsafe cars Denver, Colorado
1st vehicle engine blew up in 1 day. They were gracious enough to let us trade it for another vehicle (costing more), with problems of its own, I might add. Electrical problems, car unlocks by itself, wrong unsafe tires/wheels and misalignment according to the tire place, ball joint, engine light coming on, won't crank when water on the road, the list goes on. But they'll only charge you 50% to repair remember? Well, they charge you but don't fix anything. Did they put a bandaid on it or just turn off the engine warning light? They charged us for fixing it though!
Anyway after throwing a LOT of good money after bad, we gave it back to them in better shape than when we bought it. Now he's threatening to garnish my wages and charge 4 times more because he's going to add on $400/hr of attorney fees because he said "he has a lot of money to screw me with".
You would be better off taking your $500 down payment on the $5000 vehicle and buying a junker from an individual owner. At least you are paying for what you get.
