MWI Connections Aka DealPass rip-off unauthorized credit card charge $139.95 Omaha Nebraska
When I received my January 2003 statement from Juniper Bank - there was a charge from MWI for $139.95. There was a tollfree number of 888-868-6216 which I called. After 6 or 7 'choices' to keep saying I wanted "billing" - it just rang and rang and rang for over 7 minutes. No one picked up.
I never ordered anything from these people. I went online & did a search and found all the reports here about them! So I immediately called Juniper Bank who told me they needed me to send in a dispute report before they could do anything. I have other credit cards where the banks immediately reverse the charge so I was NOT a happy camper. But I sent them an e-mail about it.
Then I came back to ripoff and found the 800 number. I did get a person (Rayanne) who first offered to reduce the price to $60 (Sheesh) then confirmed they would refund the charge.
