Spent $5,800 to get a booth at Kids Arabia, was told that we will meet decision makers for hyper markets, super markets, department stores, from all over the middle east, it was all a lie. 

 

As per the online portal, the companies that were supposed to come didn't even attend.  Said Toys R Us will be there, they didn't show up.  Said the buyer for babyshop will be there, she didn't show up. 

 

Instead there were people that were thinking about getting in to the business that attended the meetings.

 

Everyone had appointments that were confirmed, that didn't even show up.   

 

Everyone had unconfirmed appointments with buyers that were listed on the portal, which no one was able to get a confirmed appointment with, leading us to believe that they were never registered.  

 

We called certain buyers from the show and they were registered to attend saying they didn't even express any interest in attending the show. 

Kept going to Mourad Mounsour asking him to call the buyer, he said, they will come tomorrow, they never showed up.

 

Had someone show up from the Landmark Group, who didn't have a business card, gave me a gmail address, when I asked him if he worked for the apparel department, he said he worked for safety.   

 

The smaller buyers that did show up were smaller stores, not the decision makers we were promised. 

 

The distributors that showed up, had no experience in apparel.  

 

We all sat Mourad down expressed our concerns, and asked him for a 50% precent refund, he said he basically takes no responsiblity for the buyers not showing up and that we were supposed to confirm the appointments online.  

 

And if the buyers didn't show up, he isn't responsible.  

 

Told me I was late and that the buyer came before me, and I wasn't at my booth when I got there at 9:30am and the show started at 10. 

 

Told him I was going to write this report to warn consumers, and he said that I was just trying to black mail him to get money back.  

 

I spent $5,800.00 on a booth, $2,000.00 on a hotel, $5,000.00 on a business class airfare, flew half way across the world to meet qualified buyers, ran the US side of things staying up all night, while doing a trade show all day, and I am trying to black mail and make money off of him by asking for a 50% percent refund?

 

Please do not go to his shows, he is a liar and doesn't do business the right way.
