Equity line of credit or false credit
We discoved Mortgage Capital Resource through LendingTree.com. We were approved for an equity line of credit which sounded great to consolidate bills, add equity to our home and write off the interest. We received the checks on April 25, 2000. We mailed them to our creditors and two-three weeks later we recieved notices from all of those companies that every check was returned NSF. We contacted the company and they assured us this was unusual and would be fixed in no more than 10 days. That was approximately May 12. We spoke to the Fl office and they said it was out of their hands and into the CA office hands. We have tried to call them all week the week of June 9. They too assured us that the money would be wired to the companies by Friday, June 9 no later than 5pm PST. It was not. We have tried to call their office, they ask who is calling, once they discover this, they are either at lunch, on another line, or in a meeting. We have spoken to their voice mail several times. They have lied to us, ruined our credit rating and caused us a lot of time away from work trying to fix what they messed up. They ripped us off!!!
