In december 2005 I bought a 2006 Nissan Titan from midway nissan i love this truck very much. In early 2006 my gauge cluster went out i brought the truck in for service and had this fixed and it was fixed right or so i thought. winter 2006 i found out my heater wasn't working any more i will go into that later.

In summer of 2006 i was driving home when i smelled antifreeze i got out of my truck and saw coolant pouring out of the bottom of the radiator. I brought my truck in the next day dropped it off and got a call 6 hours later that my truck was done i picked it up later that day and found out the lower tank was cracked.

That night i recieved a disturbing call that some close friends of mine were stranded in mexico. so i drove my truck to mexico when i had arrived we discovered that the radiator was still leaking this time from the radiator cap "pretty scary to find out in mexico" also so some foam strips were installed incorrectly we luckily made it home. i brought it back to MIDWAY NISAN the following monday. i told the service writer (TIM ROBERTS) about my problem he said "we dont have time right now bring it back another time."

i then brought the truck to peoria nissan and had them fix the radiator cap. they said it was not replaced when the radiator was.

Later when i had time to take the truck in again i told TIM ROBERTS about the foam strips around the radiator he said he would have them fixed so when i picked up the truck i found they were not installed correctly again they just shoved them in a little further. so i brought the truck back again and same thing happened again. i needed to drive the truck so i took it home and drove it for a while.

A while later i lifted the hood of the truck one night and found that one of the foam pieces had become dislodged from the radiator and got ripped by the engine belt. I later brought the truck in because the heater was not working the, battery was dead, the stereo was not working properly, THE FOAM RADIATOR STRIPS, and some other little things. The battery died on a friday and midway said i can have a rental for friday and to pick my truck up saturday with the new battery, and they will call me when they get the other parts in.

Almost three weeks later they called me and said the parts were in. I dropped the truck off again and when i picked it up i was told that there was a piece of foam in the heater actuator and it burnt it up TIM ROBERTS made sure to specify that this was not a piece of "NISSAN" foam as to say this was my fault. I guess he thinks i'm some kind of idiot to believe that i must have got a piece of that alien space foam stuck in there with their magic space probe. I guess they can identify that. Ha!

Then the radiator foam again. they then glued the torn foam strip in place were a new one should have gone they would not bring the truck out until i turned my rental car in and by the time i found out, the service department was closed. this ment i had to make another trip to the dealer.

The last trip i made to the dealer i noticed that the glove box was hanging down on one side and the far passenger vent was broken, from when they worked on the stereo or the heater. i told them about this and showed them before i dropped off the truck.

The next day i picked up the truck the glove box and vent looked repaired and the radiator foam too. they almost got me the left the torn piece of foam in and glued some piece of foam they had laying around to "band-aid" it. They tried to glue the glove box together and they put a new vent in but did not install it correctly there is a gap behind the vent now.

A couple of days later i contacted the service writer " TIM ROBERTS" and told him about the problem and he said it was fixed properly and when i disagreed he told me "The truck is as good as it is gonna get and if i bring it in again i will not be provided transportation." I was basicly told to screw off!

I then contacted the General manager i was told i would get a call back the next day. I NEVER! got a call back even after several voicemails i left!!

I then called Nissan North America (No help at all). I filed a complaint with them i talked to a man named Yancey he was very empathetic and he gave my complaint to a regional specialist named Aneesa. He told me i would get a call back the next business day i did not get a call back until i left two voicemails and finally got ahold of her when i called again (this was a week later). She told me told me she would update me with the complaint at the end of the day and i never got a call back.

I then left one voicemail and called three more times. I could not get ahold of her, i asked to speak to her supervisor, i was told there was nobody above her. About two minutes later i got a call back from (Carl) her supervisor. he said he would review my complaint and get back to me in 24 to 48 hours.

Not even 30 seconds after i got off the phone with him, Aneesa called me. she basicly told me that the dealer has the best intrest in my truck and they know how to repair it best (thats why the foam piece fell out into the fan belt). I argued this and she told me that Nissan North America can not do anything for me. now i am stuck with a vehicle that i paid good money for and has very poor quality work done to it. I am left very disatisfied with no resolution. i will never buy or take any vehicle to that dealership again
