Maid Brigade Services , -Leonardo Varela And Sandra Conover Rip-Off: Maid Brigade is the Worst Cleaning Service in the DC Metro Area Alexandria Virginia
Do not hire this cleaning service. Maid Brigade Services in Alexandria, VA is operated by Leonardo Varela and the Customer Service Manager is Sandra Conover. They serve the Washington DC Metro Area and surrounding counties in Maryland and Virginia. Maid Brigade Services of Alexandria have had 11 consumer complaints through the Better Business Bureau for DC/EasternMD for the past 36 months. 3 of the 11 complaints have been in the past 12 months (2008-2009).
The customer service manager, Sandra Conover, is rude, inconsiderate, and vindictive. Maid Brigade's customer service manager is intent on charging customers the maximum amount of money for the minimum amount of work. And, upon requesting to cancel subsequent visits due to dissatisfaction of their services, the service manager attempts to double-bill a credit or debit card and then refuses to reverse the charges. I had to have my bank put a fraud alert on the credit card and account so that they could not charge the account.
The service manager is incompetent and doesn't have the right service request filled out...because she is intent on the cleaning crew spending less time in your house than in actually doing a quality job. As a result, we've wasted almost an hour attempting to get the house cleaned by spanish speaking employees who understand enough English to know that they should be providing the services you requested but are advised by the service manager not to do so. This is MY personal experience as I was a former customer.
