Louvin automotive Puyallup aka Aamco Transmissions Remove and install a rebuild transmission
Aamco Transmission place in Puyallup is another franchise that should be thoroughly inspected by the bbb..Manager Dan is not to be trusted at all..he can sweet talk you into a free towing only to get the vehicle to the shop, than after the inspection, that’s when the charges begin. We were quoted at first for the rebuild transmission between 3500-4000...since our vehicle was with then, we’ve decided just to go ahead and let them finish the installation, so they did.
After the work was done, we got a call from the Manager (Dan), that he tried to start the engine but it completely DEAD.....aargh another problem he says was the starter. Not pretty sure as to how this coincides with the transmission...or we are another victim of been ripped off. My fiancé had words with him back and forth, stating that the car was running before we took it to the shop.
Finally the total amount out from the shop was $6,258.00...here the worst part, only had it home for 2 days and the oil was dripping under the engine. Took it back on the starting of the business week and it’s been at the shop for over a week now, so to speak. The shop Manager (Dan)has no courtesy even to give us an update as to what the problem was.
