Level Propane no driver in South Carolina to provide tank refill ripoff abused & mistreated ripoff Orangeburg South Carolina
I live in Sumter,Sc and purchased my heating fuel from Level Propane after recieving a brochure by mail.This Ohio based company filed Chapter 11 and still operates today.
Reluctant to purchase more fuel I called anyway to keep from paying another deposit with a new company. I was infromed that Level could not get fuel to my home for at least 30 days because they had no drivers in the South Carolina area.
I was told to call other fuel providers to fill my level tank until Level themselves could service my tank with their fuel. I found that noone would fill Levels tank due to the liability in this matter. I had to establish credit with another provider, pay a deposit and also pay $65.00 to have Levels tank moved aside.
Now level propane wants to charge me for the use of their empty tank and I want them to pay the $65.00 dollars it cost for me to move it. Their tank still sits in my yard.I payed a $300.00 dollar deposit for the new account with my new provider and $65.00 to have Levels tank moved to the side and the rate of fuel per gallon from my new provider is 20 cent more per gallon than Levels quoted price. If Level couldn't provide me with fuel how do they intend to remove their empty 500 gallon tank from my property? I want to charge them storage fee for their tank!
