Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
On 8/12/08 we went to landmark to look at used cars, but accidently drove into the new car parking lot. We were greeted by a salesman as soon as we got off the car. Howard "the duck" starting showing us new cars which we didn't mind because we just happen to want to see the inside of the malibu. He was very pushing trying to get us to test drive any car we showed an interest in. Finally we told him what we wanted to pay so he showed us the cobalts.

Again he wanted us to test drive one right away. At first we said no, but he started telling us what it came with and it sounded very good. So we decided to test drive one. He ran in to get the keys and pulled it out for us. We were getting in and realized he hadn't asked us for a license, but we just went ahead and test drove it. The cars we saw and test drove were supposed to be new so you think clean and maybe 0 miles. WRONG! All the cars we saw were dirty and had about 2000-3000 miles! We liked the car ,but decided on another color. Howard was sure the payments would be just what we were asking for. So we did the paperwork. He kept coming back to the room saying we needed to fill out another appl. for different reasons. He said to leave salary blank on one, put my name on another, change the rent amount on another and so on. We owed about $1000 on a previous car which they agreed to pay off and gave me some time to pay them back. Sounds Good.

Now we needed to see the big man Luis the financial consultant. He ran our credit but still could not come close to what we wanted. We finally caved for around $380.

We signed the paperwork and asked if we had the car. He said yes you were approved. The paperwork for your payment schedule will be mailed to you.

Then we went to get the car from their "New Car Delivery" what a joke. All they did was clean the back seat which was very dirty and had HAIR! The car was not cleaned anywhere else. They had to fill out a paper with all the scratches the car had and call to schedule the repairs.

Now 8/14 we get a call from "the duck" saying you think someone at your job can say you've be there longer than you really have or get a co-signer? What! We clean out our stuff from the car and drive down to the dealership. The duck says we have to talk to Luis. Well it turns out the bank had not approved us yet and we either needed a co-signer or get a supervisor at my job to lie about how long I have been employed. We were pissed! How can they let us drive out with a car that we don't even own yet? We refused and returned the car. I honestly think we were lucky we got out. I can not imagine what would have happened if we had continued to do business with these people. My fear now is that they have our personal info and what they can do with that. Do not do business with these people and if you GOOD LUCK!!
