Complaint Review: Ladawn Flemings - Detroit Select State/Province

     I entered into a land contract on april of 2011. I had my cuz there as a witness, she had her friend there as a notary republic.  I gave her a deposit of 2700.  2,000 was the down payment & 700 was fhe first house note.  she said she only paid 6000 for the house and it was gutted.  she did some.work on it and bought it back to life..  

now she asked.me to pay 2010 "s taxes and I said no .  I didnt know you i. 2010 nor was I living here.  I pay the year i am buying it from you.  she  agreed but said the repairs she discussed  that she agreed to do she said she would no longer be able to do and pay the taxes to.  She changed the land contract and said  that she would pay 2010 taxes  and I would be respinsible for any an all repairs.  we agreed!

     I paid a Mr brown 850 dollars to fix all moldings, sanding walls and making eveything  paintable ready.  then because Im  raising my grandson  by law the house has to be up to code.  she had a key she said just in case I lost mines.  I paid my Daughters boyfriend 100 dollars to reglaze the tub, paint the bathroom.  Then her toliet begun to leak mysterisaly so i bought a dual flush toilet and put a new pedestal sink in.  I had all our clothes, purses in the basement. and water frim the toliet was leaking everywhere..  so I had to fix that.

While making repairs  I paid this girl 700 amonth in cash. we would meet at the house and she would give me a receipt.  but there were times it seemed i would be short. and i would ask her if i could have some payments deffered to the end of the payments and she said no.  

during christmas I bought in sale a 50 " sanyo flat sceen tv.  i put upstairs in my closet.  I bought a brand new computer and printer wireless canon and put it all upstairs in my closet.  I painted my room up stairs a warm tarecotta.  I had bought about 15 pks of waynes cot from home depo.  I paid to put shelving in the hallway closet, I paid to have my grandsons room red and white from sherman williams.

Now I told her I should be done with all repairs by aug. 2012 . I wanted to be totally in the house by aug. so my daughter would be situated by sept. seeing she had a new bus route to catch for school.  so she began to complain about the grass. It was so hot that summer of 2012 everyones grass was dead.  someone stole the garbage dumpster . si when we cleaned the house we would bag up the trash  and gave to hall it to my other home.  so I paid mays payment but told her in june I wanted to start paying herbin a check because it would help me to.keep my records better thru the bank instead of receipts being everywhere. she had a fit and said ahe dont do checks, her pastor told her its bettee to deal in cash, shes getting real tired of me she hung up on me..  I didnt know what she meant and was thrown because of her weird behavior and suppose to be an evanglist called by God!  so I called her on june 14 th, 2012 and told her she could.pick the check up for junes payment.  she said she would perfer cash, she dont hardly even go to the bank. Weird!  I didnt talk to her again till June  21st, a thursday!

     About 10 am that morning I was at work .  Ladawn called and said someone broke into.the house.  and I told my boss and he said I could leave and go see whats going on.  I caalled a cab then called her back and told her i was on my way.  dont go inside cause the robber could  still be inside.  When I  got to.the house she was gone whichbi thought was weird , i just told her i was on my way.  The side door was ooenend.  I called her and asked her where was she and why did.she leave?  she said well  you know Jan  I went in and the houae smelled. I told her that was her faulty toilet that leaked all over all my  stuff in the basement.  what does that have to do with my house being broke into.  she said the hiuse been sitting ioenend since the 17th.  I told her look Ive been robbed i need check iut the house and yiu left.  She said i knowbits hot but the grass dont look that good.  I told her now is not the time for this and I hung  up.  I was standing outside and noticed a traffic cop had someone pulled over down the street.  I walked down there and asked him when he got thru could he call the police out for me. they might come out quicker if he called.  when he came down.  Officer Bennett sId I will go in with you.  we went in the electrical wires were cut, my tv, computer, her air conditiiner ,were gine. not ine window , screen  or door was broke or kicked in. hesaid who ever did this had a key. she has the other key.  The next day she put ni tresspassing , signs all over the windows and doors and typed a letter and said she was taking the house back because ine room was painted red and one room was painted orange.  This was fri.june 22.  I tried to call her to pick iut junes payment  no respond.

In her note she said she changed all the locks and i had to have my stuff out by june 30.  If I didnt get my stuff she would dispose of them beilieving i no longer wanted them.  I cried.  the house would of been paid off that oct.  she owes me 13,700.  we texted and agreed i would get my stuff on monday. i went to mich. legal aid and they said I have every right to my stuff.  legally its still my house.. she changed the time from mon at 5:00 to 10:am.  I told her no i am coming at 5 as planned.

So me and my people came at 5:00pm and had to break into the house and began to move my stuff out.  she called the police on us.  they asked did we break in and i told them yes . shes playing games and i dont have time for that.  I showed them my contract.  I told them shes a shiaster and a crook.  I showed them my police report against her and all that was missing.  I said if she ciuld show you something from 36district when she is legally putting me out , I will stop right now and leave my stuff.  So they asked herbfor the paperwork and she showed them the letter she wrote.  They said mame this is not a legal document, just a letter you wrote.  now unless you can produce a evictiin notice then you need to step to the side and let her get her things.  she is about to lise the house to taxes and i cant serve her because she only gives yiu a po box.  and when she sent the letter in thebmail to me she changeded her po bkx.  she has done this before.  when I came to look at the house she had clithes in the basement and said she has a free donatiin store she gives to the needy.  we thought it was weird then. I understand now!  please somebody help me get Justice!
