Complaint Review: K.HOVNANIAN FORECAST HOMES INC LLC - Internet

It is very hard for me to even know where to begin. Back in Janurary 2004, built I came across a sign for a new development being built - Forecast Homes INC. We were intrigued because we were interested in the area. Everything sounded so brilliant. We were one of the first families to purchase one of the homes in the five phase Palacio De Oro Community.We went to contract toward the early part of January, 2006 with a closing date of May 20th, 2006. Now is when the fun began. For starters, we closed the end of May, 2006 closing date was dragged out for SIX months. Fortunately we only had to rent for Five months because of the delays, Active duty Military deployment, During the build process, my spouse had completed paperwork since I was forward deployed. Since Move in we took note of what needed to be fixed like the kitchen tiles, SINCE back in 2006 we make the request to have the tiles fixed. The contractor brought the tiles and never fixed our kitchen the warranty company never told us that the home representive was fired but paperwork came into the mail as services were fixed never signed it called the company back they said "or thought it was completed work "" and other parts that needed to be done OMG living disaster. The home representives are different persons entering my residence giving me different status reports single every time. My K. Hovnanian (KHOV) home had defective construction from the beginning Always get the run around!. Hovnanian has failed to provide me with assurances that my home is 10 year warranty according to the paper workwe signed and the escrow package notes. My garage door never worked from 2006 placed the service request to have it fixed  to present , exterior stucco on walls are peeling , the outside security lights are broken since 2006 security issue we pay $ 276 a moth on home association fees they give us the run around to, they quick to apply interest rate when you dont pay as a warranty request OMG priceless they take years and months  to get the job done the the service request is open for work needed to be done; the interor doors are keep closingby them selves they needed adjusted form day one no one seemed to care, the entry door is cracking the studs panel, the kitchen tiles cracked, the stairway still shakey, along with other tiles even service request were made into the warranty request department before and during my military deployments, NOW my request is deemed as a NO ACTION they said OH i took to long to input the records I have my copies that I faxed and submitted they cannot find any of my records what a joke, K. Hovnanian Forecast failed to render my warranty concerns for my unit. Every day since move in we encountered different problems in ourhome. Our home were messed up during initial walk thru that we got to four pages of items that had problems and advised customer service that we were done and would reschedule the walk through after they fixed the items same items never were fixed. Well, at our second walk through, we had the new project manager yet another different face everytime. Again, not everything was corrected so we had to schedule a third walk thru. We were promised by our first customer service representative that all items would be completed before we moved in. The upper management does not care about the homebuyers and all the inconveniences they have put us through. They only care about selling these houses. I would be ashamed to work for this GRIMMY walking the hallof shame KHOV company.The Regional Sales manager who sold us on the home had omitted several key items of our home. We had to take out anadditional and substantial loan to cover those items. This company should be ashamed of the way our build was handled .We expressed our anger and disgust throughout the project. Everytime my spouse had a question or didn't like something, she asked what could be done and we were told to continue to sign off on the bank draws and the problems would be resolved. We got an 2 arms from First Franklin Loan the worst bank finanical to pay your mortgage they know in the long run you wont afford you mortgage so they give me 80/20 loan what scum bags to, they are gabbage along side with KHOV Services what a horror. dont buy from KHOVNANIAN FORECAST HOMES INC A CALIFORNIA CORPORATION  bottomline avoid this company! As of today NOV 2009 still no action on my warranty request dated back in 2006 they ignored my concerns! They still dont care!
